President’s Letter

It’s hard to believe that by the time you read this letter we are a little over fifty days to the pool being opened for the summer.  I hope that each of you is doing well, and, like me, are ready to see the pool busy with summer activities.

A big thank you goes out to the families that have been able to contribute to the Emergency Repair Campaign Fund.  We currently stand at about 36% of the needed funds to pay the loan.  I continue to ask that each family consider donating $50.00 towards this endeavor to help with the $21,000.00 cost for the pool repairs.  Not being greedy individuals, the Pool Board would be happy for any donation that you are able to make.

Thanks go out to my daughter, Sarah, and her team that were able to sale all 100 tickets for the 2016 Pool Membership Raffle.  Congratulations to the Klassen Family, our pool membership winners!  Thanks to everyone who participated and bought a ticket or tickets.

There are many events planned for the summer, but before we get to enjoy those activities our next big event will be on April 16th when we will be having our Yard and Bake Sale in the median strip of Dell Drive.  For this event to be successful we are soliciting donations of items to sale for the yard sale as well as donations of baked goods.  I have it on good authority that if you are craving Bob’s Burgers they will also be available for sale around 10:30 that day.

In closing, I would like to again say thanks for your continued support.   Also, to remind everyone that I do not have all the answers and am very open to your suggestions.

I look forward to another great year as your Swim and Tennis Club President.

Help Our Pool

We’ve started a Generosity Campaign to help raise the remaining 65% of our Pool’s emergency maintenance debt. Please consider donating, every little bit helps and your funds help keep the doors open to our neighborhood pool. The Generosity platform does not charge a fee for use of it’s site however there is a 3% credit card processing fee. U-fab  has agreed to match that 3% of all the donations collected with this campaign, so give generously!  We warmly thank everyone for their support.
