We all agree that the pool is one of the things that makes Surreywood special.   The pool board has decided that we can safely open the pool during Virginia’s Safer at Home: Phase Two using guidelines provided by the CDC.  One thing is certain: this summer season will look much different than any other summer we’ve ever known.

Therefore, as a thank you to every member who joins this year, we will award 10 free guest passes ($50 value) for redemption next Summer 2021.
The pool has met the minimum number of members it needs to open!  Hours are subject to change as Virginia moves through the phases of Virginia’s Safer at Home, but for now, here is what you can expect:

Phase Three Initiatives

Under Phase Three, the pool can be used for swimming laps and recreation.   Keep in mind:

  1. Members are asked to stay home if they are sick.
  2. Members and guests will bring their own chairs.  Surreywood Pool  will not provide chairs.
  3. Member and guest units will remain socially distant from one another.
  4. Pool members and guests will adhere to all social distancing guidelines provided by CDC.  Failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the pool deck area.

The Pool will close every 1.75 hours for cleaning and disinfecting procedures on the pool deck and in bathrooms.  Our pool staff will ensure the following that high touch areas will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Adult Lap Swim

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7am-9am (By reservation only)

Every Day: 11am-8pm (No reservation required)

Open Swim (starting July 26)

Every Day: 11am-8pm (No reservation required).

Please continue to practice social distancing while on the pool deck.  Each umbrella on deck is spaced for appropriate social distancing.  Families are asked to use one umbrella per visit under which to place their belongings.
